Bears Fire John Fox After 3 Seasons

It’s official. John Fox is no more in Chicago.

Multiple sources, including NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, have reported that the Bears have relieved Fox of his coaching duties Monday morning. The Bears haven’t made an official statement yet.

In his three seasons with the Bears, Fox went 14-34 as coach with a .292 winning percentage, which ranks second worst in franchise history behind only Abe Gibron (.274 from 1972-74).

The Bears will begin the search for their 16th head coach in franchise history. Ryan Pace will begin the search immediately looking for the guy that can help get the most out of franchise quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. There have been many national people that have said Pace will be looking for an offensive mind to help grow Trubisky.
