Press Conference: Ryan Pace Talks Trubisky’s Development, Optimism in 2018

A new year calls for new changes. The Chicago Bears made a change in the form of their head coach in firing John Fox after three disappointing seasons in which he went 14-34.

The Bears held a press conference at Halas Hall on Monday to address Fox’s firing, general manager Ryan Pace’s contract extension (through 2021), and Pace’s vision for the Bears moving forward.

In his press conference, Pace focused on optimism he has for the future of the Bears and their young roster. He preached the importance of helping their young quarterback Mitchell Trubisky succeed, the search for the next coach, and the work that lies ahead in what’s shaping up to be an exciting yet crucial offseason.
