Post Game Press Conference: Mitch Trubisky Talks Patriots Loss

The Chicago Bears fell one yard short of forcing overtime against the New England Patriots on Sunday. And while the Bears only lost by a touchdown to one of the league’s best teams, the self-inflicted mistakes made this loss hurt worse than the score indicates.

Quarterback Mitch Trubisky had perhaps his worst game of his young career — in the air at least. Trubisky completed 26 of 50 passes for 333 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions for a rating of 69.8 in the 38-31 loss. He was horribly inaccurate for most of the game, though some dropped balls certainly didn’t help matters.

When the passing game failed him, Trubisky used his legs to make plays and kept the Bears in a position to win up until the end. Trubisky led the Bears in rushing with 81 yards on 6 carries and a touchdown.
