Week 8 Postgame: Bears 24, Jets 10 (Press Conferences, Locker Room Celebration)
It wasn’t exactly pretty. But when it comes to winning football games, there are no style points needed.
The Chicago Bears rallied in the second half to beat the New York Jets 24-10 to advance to 4-3 on the season (3-1 at home.)
Mitch Trubisky, who struggled in the first half, finished 16-for-29 for 220 yards, two touchdowns and a 102.7 passer rating. He also had six carries for 51 yards.
“They were doing a good job stopping us in the first half, but we also stopped ourselves a little bit there,” Trubisky said. “We just needed to continue to get in into rhythm. … I just need to be more consistent. It’s finding completions and not trying to force a big play, just trying to move the ball and continue to convert on third downs.”
