Press Conference: Mitch Trubisky Previews Regular Season Finale Vs. Vikings
Watching the Chicago Bears it’s obvious that the strength of this team is its defense. The hope is to eventually get the offense to the same level. But it’s important to remember that — while the Bears defense is dominating — this offense is just 15 games into Matt Nagy’s scheme.
During his weekly press conference, quarterback Mitch Trubisky said this offense is growing, making mistakes, and learning in its first year of installation. But he also said that the fact that this is their first year in this offense doesn’t excuse them.
“There are no excuses,” Trubisky said. “It doesn’t matter that it’s our first year. It doesn’t matter that we have a new head coach and a new offense. We also want immediate results so we are out there working hard and wanting to continue winning games.”
